About Me
BIO
I’m currently a full-time Assistant Lecturer at Limerick Institute of Technology. I teach computer programming on the Electronic Engineering degrees. My subjects incorporate C, C++, Java and Python.
Previous to my employment at Limerick Institute of Technology I worked at Würth Ireland Ltd. where, at various times, I was responsible for web development, database administration, system administration and mobile services development.
In a previous life I was one half of Digital Sideburns, a Limerick based indie video game company. We released a hit game, Wordsnap Contraption and provided game and app development services for a number of companies.
In my role at Limerick Institute of Technology I also have the opportunity to engage in varied and interesting research. I regularly provide consulting and knowledge transfer services under the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Voucher scheme. I enjoy turning ideas into reality using a variety of technologies.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Software Development and I’m currently studying for my MSc in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh.
